Episteme 2024
About the Program
Episteme 2024, an initiative by Pravaha in collaboration with IIIT-Hyderabad, is designed to cultivate curiosity and knowledge in three major focus areas – sustainability and climate change issues, high-level STEM immersion, and innovation, design thinking, and entrepreneurship.
Scheduled from May 20th to June 2nd, 2024, the program hosted 50 highly able children aged 10-14 years, offering an immersive educational experience, integrated hands-on activities, interactive lectures, and real-world problem-solving exercises.

Integrating advanced STEM education with sustainable practices to address pressing environmental challenges

Cultivating entrepreneurial skills and mindsets to inspire the next generation of leaders and change-makers
Innovation & Design Thinking
Fostering creative problem-solving and innovative thinking through hands-on design projects and workshops
Environmental Awareness
Promoting a deep understanding of climate change and sustainability through immersive, real-world learning experiences
Program Activities
Hands-On Workshops & Bootcamps
Students engaged in a variety of hands-on workshops and bootcamps focused on STEM and sustainability. These activities included building and programming robots, developing IoT projects, and designing mobile applications.
Lectures and Thought Experiments
Lectures and thought experiments were conducted by experts in the fields of sustainability, climate change, and technology. These sessions aimed to broaden students’ knowledge base, encourage critical thinking, and stimulate curiosity.
Field Visits & Industry Exchange
Participants had the opportunity to visit high-end laboratories at IIIT-H, as well as innovation hubs like T-Works. Students interacted with startup founders and industry experts, gaining valuable insights into the startup ecosystem.
Socio-Emotional Learning Sessions
SEL sessions were incorporated to enhance students’ self-awareness, empathy, communication, and collaboration skills. These sessions offered practical tools for emotional self-regulation and improved interpersonal relationships.
