The FutureSolve Hackathon, held at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), was an exceptional event dedicated to harnessing technology for sustainability and solving climate change issues.
This event, a brainchild of the collaborative efforts between IIIT-H and the Pravaha Foundation, was designed to be more than just a competition; it was a movement toward empowering the next generation of innovators.
FutureSolve brought together bright minds from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) to explore the realms of Robotics, IoT, and App Development, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving among the youth. It was carefully crafted to address two of the most pressing challenges of our time: Sustainability and Climate Change.
Exploring tech-based solutions to environmental challenges
Addressing global warming and ecological issues through innovative technology
Utilizing Robotics, IoT, and App Development to create impactful solutions
Fostering the next generation of tech leaders and empowering young students with critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Participants were to create solutions for water scarcity, focusing on issues like leakage, pollution, inefficient rainwater harvesting, and excessive water usage. The challenge was to develop technology-driven systems for detecting and preventing water wastage
This category challenged participants to address air pollution and global warming. Solutions were aimed at improving transportation systems, reducing fossil fuel use, managing deforestation and wildfires, utilizing technology for cleaner air, and reducing emissions
The focus was on innovating natural disaster management, including detection and response systems for floods, earthquakes, landslides, and wildfires. Participants were to develop technology-based solutions for early warning, efficient evacuation, and rapid disaster response
