LoDEStonE 2024, a collaborative initiative between Pravaha Foundation and IIIT-Hyderabad, was crafted to inspire innovation and design thinking among young minds.
Running from May 4th to 16th, 2024, the program brought together 40 students from grades 8 to 10, offering an intensive and hands-on educational journey. It highlighted interdisciplinary learning, blending technology with sustainable design principles, and placed a significant emphasis on practical problem-solving and creativity.

Students engaged in hands-on sessions to learn the fundamentals of design thinking, including empathy, ideation, prototyping, and problem-solving techniques.
Through practical projects and case studies, students explored sustainable design principles, learning to create solutions that balance environmental, social, and economic considerations.
Visits to T-Works and IKEA provided students with real-world exposure to innovative practices and sustainable design in action, enhancing their understanding and inspiring creativity.
Focused modules on UI/UX design, wearable technology, UAV design, and smart city concepts equipped students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills in various design fields.
Activities in storytelling and theatre design emphasized the importance of narrative and emotional impact in design, allowing students to express their ideas creatively through different media.
The program culminated in a design challenge where students applied their learning to develop innovative solutions for contemporary sustainability and climate change issues, demonstrating their creativity and problem-solving abilities.
